Band/Performer/Event Ian Dury and the Blockheads

Originally lead by charismatic frontman Ian Dury, the Blockheads are an English new-wave post punk rock band formed in London in 1977. Since the death of Dury in 2000 the band has continued to perform with various line-ups. Ian was the lead singer and lyricist of Kilburn and the High Roads, the Kilburns, Ian Dury and the Music Students as well as - and most famously - Ian Dury and the Blockheads.
