Band/Performer/Event Robert Palmer

Robert Palmer was born in Yorkshire in 1949 and died in 2003 in Paris. He was an English singer and songwriter known for his powerful and soulful voice as well as his sartorial elegance. Combining soul, funk, jazz, rock, pop, reggae and blues, his best known song "Addicted to Love" and its accompanying video came to epitomise the glamour and excesses of the 1980s.
