Genre New Romantic

New Romantic was formed as an underground sub-culture that originated in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The scene was centred around nightclubs in both London and Birmingham and the New Romantic movement was characterised by flamboyant, eccentric often over the top fashion, make-up and hairstyles regardless of the music played.
