Venue The Jug of Ale - Moseley
The Jug of Ale in Moseley was a regular haunt on the Moseley pub crawl until its closure in May 2008. The venue hosted many bands in its 16 years, some of which are now household names like Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene, Suede, The Verve and Editors. The building has since been turned into an Indian restaurant and does not serve alcohol.
The building was once a pub called the Regent and opened in the early 1960s when it was converted from two large old houses. In the early 1990s it was renamed the Jug of Ale and was a regular stop for many bands until 2008.
